Aron Szekely, DPhil in Sociology, has been a Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Agent Based Social Simulation (LABSS) since 2014. By training he is a sociologist with a highly interdisciplinary background.
His undergraduate degree is in Biology and his MSc and DPhil are both in Sociology. His research mirrors this interdisciplinarity and has examined signalling theory, group reputation, social norms, and more broadly cooperation and conflict.
Typically, he employs laboratory experiments but he has also used observational data and has collaborated on creating agent-based models.
