Lucas Sage is a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies (ISTC) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR).
He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Research, awarded jointly by Sorbonne University and the University of Trento. Previously, he was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute.
Adopting the principles of analytical sociology, his research explores how individual micro-decisions aggregate to shape macro-level social patterns in areas like socioeconomic inequality and social networks. His work combines statistical methods with agent-based modelling. Lucas has also taught undergraduate courses in statistics, social stratification, and introduction to sociology.
