Sara Gil-Gallen

Sara Gil-Gallen is a researcher at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies (ISTC) of the Italian National Council of Research (CNR), and a member of the Laboratory of Agent-Based Social Simulation (LABSS). She is also a member of the Social Interactions Lab at the BETA, University of Strasbourg.

She did a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Bari (Italy). She also spent two years visiting the Université Côte d'Azur, where I joined the ANR GrlCRiS project. Afterward, she started a multidisciplinary postdoc fellowship in collaboration with psychologists as part of the ANR project CreaMaker (CreaCube task) - AIDE at the Université Côte d'Azur (Nice). Following this experience, she was a contractual assistant professor at the BETA, University of Strasbourg.

Her research focuses on behavioral and experimental economics, with particular interests in cooperation, creativity, bargaining, and cultural events. She currently works on a project that investigates the development of experiments to study social norms, their dynamics, and their impact in fostering cooperation in hybrid systems that include humans and AI systems.
