Ozan Aksoy is Senior Teaching Fellow in Quantitative Social Sciences at the University College London.
Ozan’s two research focuses are cooperative behaviour in modern societies and the political sociology of religion. He uses formal-mathematical modeling (such as decision theory and game theory) and is specialized in experimental and statistical methods.
Before joining UCL, Ozan was a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Nuffield College Centre for Experimental Social Sciences and at the Department of Sociology, University of Oxford. Ozan holds a PhD in quantitative sociology from the ICS research school of Utrecht University. His work has been published in sociology, social psychology, political science, and game theory journals.
